With the beautiful driving weather finally here, it’s time to stretch the legs on our Corvettes and represent our club at some fantastic local events! We have an incredible lineup of shows and cruise-ins on the horizon. Whether you’re looking to show off your polished fiberglass, enjoy some classic waterfront views, or support a wonderful local cause, we have the perfect itinerary lined up for you.
Get those calendars out and block off these dates!
1. Wayne DuBois Memorial Cruise-in
- The Vibe: A heartfelt community gathering dedicated to celebrating a love for beautiful cars and honoring a deeply missed automotive enthusiast.
- Why You Should Go: This event is all about camaraderie, sharing stories, and admiring great engineering. It’s a perfect opportunity for a relaxed club rollout where we can line up our Vettes together, chat with fellow gearheads, and enjoy a great day of car culture.
2. Deltaville Maritime Museum Car Show & Cruise-In
- The Vibe: Classic cars meet classic coastal charm.
- Why You Should Go: Held at the gorgeous Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, this event offers the perfect backdrop for a summer drive. You can park on the scenic grounds, explore local vendors, and take in the beautiful waterfront views. It’s an incredibly family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone, making it the perfect destination for a club cruise.
3. Memory Lane Classic Car Show at Ditchley Cider Works
- The Vibe: Historic estate charm, crisp hard cider, and beautiful classic rides.
- Why You Should Go: Set on the stunning, historic 160-acre estate grounds in Kilmarnock, this show is an absolute favorite. You can park the Corvettes on the lawn, enjoy a glass of farm-raised hard apple cider, and catch up with friends. With great food options like their signature sliders and beautiful views of the water, it makes for an incredible day-trip cruise with the club. Be sure to pack your lawn chairs for this one!
4. Callao Moose Lodge Antique Car Show
- The Vibe: Good food, good people, and classic community hospitality.
- Why You Should Go: The Callao Moose Lodge always knows how to host a top-tier community event. This antique and classic car show is a staple for local enthusiasts. It’s a wonderful chance to support a fantastic local fraternal organization while checking out a diverse mix of vintage steel alongside our modern and classic Corvettes.
